As of December 31, 2007, affiliates of The LeFrak Organization owned interests in approximately 1,000 producing oil and gas wells with a significant proved reserve base. In addition to working interests in oil and gas wells, the company is a significant owner of oil and gas mineral rights located throughout the United States.
